I currently live in New Jersey (where there used to be a KMart until it closed because of the opening of a new Walmart) and I've missed this store because, sometimes, Walmart just does not supply the particular items that I need. Unverified User I picked up a couple of tank tops for a good price, making sure they were not made in China. I also bought an item that had a SALE tag on the display although the sale was over. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier the sale price was honoured.
One thing I bought (cashews) were on sale and past their 'best by' date. They were not very good. I guess I should have checked the date in the store.2 days ago

dprone@... Once my husband and I were looking for a recliner for my mother. My husband tried it out, then he told to sit on it. Well, I even had thick shirts on, and I thrust backwards and it felt like wires were popping out of the recliner. So much for that recliner.2 days ago

Unverified User I stopped in to look at the click clack sofa /bed looking to replace a bed in one of my bedrooms with something more usable. It was very low priced - $100, but only came in black, and it was hard as a rock, not something I would want my guests to sleep on. Also, we looked at the prices of mattresses in a box, and didn't find anything we couldn't get cheaper at a local mattress shop.2 days ago

Unverified User I was happy to find the clothes that I needed were slashed by 30%. More so, the inventory was good. Moreover, I can use my Sears Card to purchase items at Kmart. There were enough cash registers open so I did not have to wait. I'm so glad I stopped at Kmart first. Thanks for this wonderful experience. Unverified User I stopped into Kmart to check out the sneakers they had on sale. I was very pleased at the selection and after trying on a couple of pairs I bought both of them. I was quite pleased with the selections in the departments I looked at. The store was very neat and well laid out and the prices were good too.6 days ago

I love shopping at Kmart, on my recent purchase the savings were huge, the booster seat for my co workers' baby shower was only $20.99 and the best part is that its good for use of 6 months to 4 year old. That's a steal. I, myself is 8months pregnant and the check out lines were flowing at a great pace. deborahdecker@... i put in a application for k-mart at least two times and yet haven't heard from no one. Yet I see a lot of new people working at the one that I require about. Is it my age which is 55 years old. I mean I am a hard worker maybe I never did this type of work, but it seems k-mart doesn't give you a chance to show them you are capable of working a cash register and taking care of a area on the floor.12 days ago

painter1@... waited in line for over 20minutes while the staff had to go check every sale item i bought because nothing i purchased showed up for the sale prices, then was told the jeans i had were in the wrong place and were not on sale. eventhough the ENTIRE rack had the same jeans. the managers response was some put them in the wrong place. this happens everytime i shop here, i think i will go to walmart.13 days ago

Unverified User My most recent experience at store # 3953 was one of the worst ever. I was there at lunch time and almost walked out without purchasing my items. The cashiers were extremely slow and then when new lines opened they took customers from the end of the line rather than the next customers in line. This was a very frustrating experience!20 days ago

Unverified User The kmart in pikeville finally got a lady in customer service with a little respect. I went in the other day to return something and the lady was very nice. I normally have to wait in line 30 minutes only to be treated rudely when i get to the check out. I was in line for about 5 minutes and the girl had check out 10 customers to the lady on register ones 3. She is very quick & had a smile on her face the whole time. The reciept says her name is Teresa. Ill be checking out there next time!21 days ago
